A lot of playing.

I've really come to appreciate the greatness that is Steam. What I love the most about them is all their crazy sales. I've kind of become addicted to checking their site daily to see what great deals they are offering that day. Here is a list of games that I've purchased on Steam over the last several months. It's a lot of good gaming for a low low cost.

-Alien Swarm
-Booster Trooper
-Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
-Deus Ex
-Far Cry 2
-Left 4 Dead 2
-Mirror's Edge
-Red Faction: Guerrilla

Most of these games were $5 or less, the most expensive being COD 4 which was $15.

In addition to these Steam games, I had already purchased Valve's Orange Box which included Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2:Episode One, Half-Life 2:Episode Two, Half-Life 2:Lost Coast, Team Fortress 2, and Portal.

I truly think that Steam is the future of PC gaming. Being able to have access to your game library at any place there's an internet connection is great. Another thing I love is that you don't need to have the game CD in the machine to play, all verification goes through Steam. Steam is a great way to combat piracy.

The achievement system is a great way to add longevity to your games. I find myself playing games over and over again trying to get achievements.

Thanks Steam, keep up the good work.
